What do we believe about our times?

We believe that we are in a season in which we are being called to "Stand Firm."

The place where we are standing firm is on God's Word, for God's Truth and in God's love.

We believe that the question at hand is not about interpretations of the Bible. The real issue is the authority of the Bible. The Scriptures are not subject to the Church; rather, the Church is subject to the Scriptures.

We believe that the Bible to which we submit says, "as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." (Col. 3:12)

We believe that we are looking at a future Anglican realignment in which American churches and dioceses will be connected with others nationally and internationally, joined in our commitment to Biblical authority and the Great Commission.

We believe that too many of our neighbors, friends and business associates -- as well as whole people groups -- have not yet heard the clear message of Jesus Christ's power to transform lives. We must not be sidetracked or distracted. This message is too important to be neglected or compromised. We must examine ourselves, renew our commitment to be under the authority of Scripture, and make the Great Commission our priority (Matthew 28:19-20).

We believe it is best to keep as much of the conflict as possible out of the secular media.

We believe we need to pray for wisdom, strength, protection and guidance as we stand firm on God's Word, for God's Truth, and in God's Love.
