2026 Lenten Lecture Series Wednesdays @ 7pm Experiencing Renewal in Christ So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16 How does Christ renew us daily? He makes Himself available to us through repentance, prayer, Scripture, community, and stillness. We are also renewed through Holy Spirit encounters normally experienced within the gathered community of God’s people. During this season of Lent, our focus is to invite us into both forms of renewal. Sunday sermons will emphasize our ongoing need for daily renewal, while Wednesday evening services will provide intentional spaces where we open ourselves to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Lauren Coleman Children's Ministry Coordinator I grew up in the church and benefited from my mother's prayers and vibrant faith. At age 18 that faith came fully alive through the work of God's grace and Holy Spirit. I was soon called into vocational ministry and have now served in various ministries for over 30 years. I simply enjoy people and have been privileged to serve all age groups. Along the way I also earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, and I'm now working on a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min). I serve as a counselor at HopeWell Ministries. I’ve been married 20 years to Cheryl and we have two children, Cullen and Zoey.

ANGER: Appropriate or Inappropriate? A recent poll says that 69% of Americans are either very or somewhat angry about how things are going in our country. God’s Word has a great deal of wisdom for us about the roots of anger, when it is appropriate, and how to overcome inappropriate anger. Saturday, March 23 , 2024 | 5 pm The Passover Seder celebrates God setting Israel free from Egyptian bondage, delivering His people from slavery to freedom. Believers in Y'shua the Messiah participate in Passover because through Him, our lives have passed over from death to life. We have been redeemed by the Passover Lamb, through the Perfect Atonement through His Blood. Each food on the Seder plate symbolizes a part of this redeeming act of God. Each person has a little taste of each food, coming together to participate in what God has done for His people. The Seder gives us the historical Jesus, putting into perspective what He did for us. We participate in the life of Y'shua and celebrate this through the Cup of Redemption, which is a part of the Passover Seder. We become one with Jesus through receiving His Body and Blood, remembering He celebrated this dinner with his disciples the night before He was handed over to suffering and death. Come join this celebration on Saturday, March 23, at 5:00 p.m. Please sign up by Sunday, March 17, so we can plan our seating and supply needs. There are sign-up sheets for both attendance and for helpers and donations. We ask that each family bring the following: Last name A-L: A dessert that will feed 8 people and a v egetable dish or salad for 8.* Last name M-Z: A meat dish that will feed 8 people and a vegetable dish or salad for 8.* A bottle of grape juice for your family. If you're coming solo, just bring double what you would eat yourself. The Seder ceremony takes place before dinner, so please provide a snack beforehand for young children, so they will not become too hungry. *Please, no shellfish, pork, lamb, dairy, or anything with leavening (yeast, baking soda/powder.)

Luke’s Research on Jesus Luke was a doctor whose research on Jesus portrays His heart for the lost, the poor, the disabled, and the undervalued, such as women and children. This is illustrated primarily through the miracles, testimonies and parables that are unique to the Gospel of Luke.
