“A great company of angels” … I love that the Word of God is full of mysteries- not the whodunit kind, but secret treasures and revelations hidden here and there. The Spirit delights in taking us on treasure hunts. This great company of angels that appeared at His birth was also poised and waiting to deliver Him from the cross. How disciplined these angelic companies must be! But , and here is one of those mysteries, in Song of Songs, there is a verse that speaks of the dance of two companies- mahanaim. I have peered into that mysterious verse dozens of times, but the seeing is so ellusive. Since the context is all about the love between the King…
